Job Description

Reporting to the President of Marmon Crane Services, the President of Freo Group is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership by creating a highly qualified and effective management team and by working with management to establish and implement long-range goals, strategies, operational plans and policies. You will build on existing service offering and market strengths to successfully manage and achieve sustained profitable growth for the business. This will involve the further development of managers and strategic leadership of the organisation. The President will have full profit and loss responsibility for the reporting units included in Freo Group. Furthermore, the President will need to identify and effectively respond to changes in this dynamic marketplace.

Responsibilities

Lead all commercial, sales, operations, safety, quality, finance, and human resources teams to successfully deliver against operational and strategic objectives.Develop vision and strategic plan for the company; lead and oversee the implementation of the company's long and short-term plans in accordance with the strategy.Ensure the company is appropriately organised and resourced to successfully execute its objectives.Assess the principal risks of the company and to ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed. Periodically, as needed but at least once a year, performs a review of the Company's business to identify risks and to develop actions to mitigate those risks.Lead a high-performing team to achieve business objectives while fostering a culture and workplace that attracts and retains a highly engaged workforce.Periodically and at least quarterly meet with Marmon Crane Services and/or Marmon Executives to assess the direction of the company and ensure it is in line with the company's stated mission.Encourage business investment, act as a visionary and provide leadership for the company.Oversee the complete operation of the company ensuring it operates and goals are met based on the direction established in the strategic plans.Continually plan ways to increase the company's profitability and stay on top of progress.Provide periodic updates to Marmon Crane Services and Marmon that include, but are not limited to monthly budget reports, quarterly business reviews and the annual Crane Group budget process.The Successful Applicant

You will have a Bachelor's degree and at least fifteen years of successful general management experience with a solid background in industrial services with a strong emphasis on commercial management. A proven track record of growing revenue earnings and robust operational/financial management experience is required. Ideally you will demonstrate experience of a leadership role with full P&L responsibility of at least $200 million per year with three year's demonstrated improvement in profitability combined with proven leadership skills.
